Summary

This bill amends the Agricultural Research, Extension, and Education Reform Act of 1998 to require specified funds provided for the Department of Agriculture Specialty Crop Research Initiative to be reserved to support research to: (1) promote sustainable production of berry and grape crops; and (2) to improve, with respect to such crops, the ability to forecast pest and disease spread and to implement precision pest and disease management strategies.
