21st Century Automated Vehicle Safety Act of 2018 This bill directs the Department of Transportation to make grants on a competitive basis to eligible entities (i.e., nonprofit organizations, states and localities, and institutions of higher education) for such entities to establish pilot programs to advance high-definition road mapping in order to further the safe deployment of highly automated vehicles.
