This bill authorizes the Department of the Army to produce, treat, manage, and use natural gas located under Fort Knox, Kentucky. Natural gas produced may only be used to support activities and operations at Fort Knox, and may not be sold for use elsewhere. The Army may also take ownership of any production and treatment equipment or facilities utilized by a contractor in accordance with the terms of an agreement for the production or use of natural gas.
