This bill amends the Farm Security and Rural Investment Act of 2002 to: (1) reauthorize the Agriculture Innovation Center Demonstration Program through FY2023, and (2) require the Department of Agriculture to use $500,000 of the funds provided each year for the program to support a public-private partnership to produce and update a smart agriculture industry technology roadmap. A smart agriculture industry technology roadmap is a set of policies designed to: (1) guide the future development of technology in the agriculture industry; and (2) help align the efforts of the U.S agriculture industry, the research community, and other members of the agriculture community to increase U.S. efforts to become the global leader in smart farming and agriculture.
