Opioid Prescription Verification Act of 2018 This bill requires retail distributors of opioids in states with prescription drug monitoring programs, for each opioid sale, to (1) verify the identity of the purchaser; and (2) enter into the program's system the name and address of the purchaser, the name and address of the patient for whom the opioid is prescribed, the name of the opioid, the quantity sold, and the date and time of the sale.
