To amend title 38, United States Code, to include local government minimum wage requirements in determining the hourly minimum wage applicable for purposes of the work-study allowance under the educational assistance programs administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs.

Wage Adjustment for Veterans Student Act This bill requires the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to pay the higher of the federal, state, or local government minimum wage as a work-study allowance under the educational assistance programs. Currently, the VA must pay the higher of the state or federal minimum wage.
