To require certain entities who collect and maintain personal information of individuals to secure such information and to provide notice to such individuals in the case of a breach of security involving such information, and for other purposes.

Secure and Protect Americans' Data Act This bill directs the Federal Trade Commission to require certain organizations to (1) establish information security practices for the treatment and protection of personal information, and (2) provide specified notice in the case of a security breach involving such information.
