Battling Russian Intelligence Baiting Efforts Act of 2017 or the BRIBE Act of 2017 This bill authorizes the intelligence community to collect and report on efforts by foreign powers to: (1) influence the President; Vice President; and family members of the President and Vice President, including in-laws; and (2) provide favorable treatment to the Trump Organization or other businesses or organizations with financial ties to the President, Vice President, and their families (covered businesses or organizations). Attempts to influence and to provide favorable treatment include granting trademarks, providing favorable regulatory treatment, renting or buying properties owned or operated by covered businesses or organizations, investing in such organizations, and lending money to such businesses. The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) must assess such intelligence received within 30 days and then provide a report to the congressional intelligence committees about each assessment within 10 days. The ODNI must disclose to the congressional intelligence committees any intelligence related to foreign powers attempting to influence the Trump Administration that was obtained from January 19, 2017, through the date of the enactment of this bill.
