This bill amends the Billfish Conservation Act of 2012 to maintain a prohibition on the sale of marlin, sailfish, and spearfish while ensuring that the exemption for traditional fisheries does not create new markets for these species. The National Marine Fisheries Service must issue a final rule implementing the Billfish Conservation Act of 2012 within 45 days after the enactment of this bill.
