School Safety Act of 2017 This bill amends the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 to reauthorize through FY2022 the Community Oriented Policing Services Secure Our Schools grant program. The bill also expands the allowable use of grant funds under the program to include acquiring and installing technology to promptly notify local law enforcement during an emergency.
